Parrocel, Atelier de (XVIIème siècle) , Ecce Homo autour de1650

ATELIER DE PARROCEL, Provence XVIIème siècle, huile sur toile. Ecce Homo :
Christ en vue frontale portant les stigmates de simulacre, se tient entre le soldat et Pilate.
Pilate tient la robe du Christ et étend sa main vers le spectateur, le soldat garde l'accusé, le christ est auréolé et porte sa couronne d'épines.
A noter que ce genre de peinture prend souvent sa source auprès de gravures telles que : gravure de JAN COLLAERT datée de 1587 dont la conception est de Joannes STRADANUS, Bruges 1523, Florence 1605, éditeur : John GALLES (1600 - 1676).
Sur sa toile d'origine, cadre récent dans le goût du XVIIème siècle.

Workshop PARROCEL, Provence XVII century, oil on canvas. Ecce Homo Christ in frontal view with the pretense of stigma, stands between the soldier and Pilate.
Pilate takes the robe of Christ and extends his hand toward the viewer,
the soldier custody the accused, christ is crowned and wears his crown of thorns.
Note that this kind of painting often rises with engravings such as etching Jan COLLAERT dated 1587 whose design is Joannes STRADANUS, Bruges 1523, Florence 1605, Publisher: John GALLES (1600-1676). On its original canvas, recent frame in the style of the seventeenth century.
