Chaudron de grande taille en cuivre rouge ciselé, originaire du Maghreb, Algérie, du XIXème siècle en très bel état.
La ciselure profonde représente des frises de végétaux.
Deux attaches en cuivre très épais supportent l'anse en fer forgé martelé.
Un bourrelet de cuivre ceint le pourtour .
Vous trouverez un chaudron dans ma galerie originaire d'Iran, lui aussi du XIXème siècle.

"Cauldron With Chiseled Red Copper Handle, Maghreb, Algeria, 19th Century, Good Condition"
Large cauldron in chiseled red copper, originating from the Maghreb, Algeria, from the 19th century in very good condition.
The deep carving represents friezes of plants.
Two very thick copper fasteners support the hammered wrought iron handle.
A copper bead surrounds the perimeter. You will find a cauldron in my gallery from Iran, also from the 19th century.
