Artiste : Turkmènes Plat de mariage en cuivre ciselé anciennement étamé, fortement décoré. Signé par deux fois et daté sur le rebord extérieur et au dessous. voir photos Originaire du Turkestan, Asie centrale, du milieu du XIXème siècle. Daté en Persan 1270 soit 1854 de notre calendrier. Un fin décor, d'une frise d'entrelacs cerne un soleil ou s'inscrit au centre un chevreuil. Une légère frise ceinture l'ensemble elle même cernée de trois cartouches décorés de frises et entrecoupés par trois fleurs. Le plat est signé et comporte des inscriptions dans un cartouche dans une belle calligraphie. La patine est superbe à l'intérieur comme à l'extérieur de ce plateau à hauts rebords. Artist: Turkmen Heavily decorated chased copper antique tin-plated wedding dish. Twice signed and dated on the outer rim and below. see photos Original to Turkestan, Central Asia, from the mid-19th century. Dated in Persian 1270 or 1854 of our calendar. A fine decoration, of a frieze of interlacing circles a sun or inscribed in the center a deer. A light frieze surrounds the whole itself surrounded by three cartouches decorated with friezes and intersected by three flowers. The dish is signed and features inscriptions in a cartouche in beautiful calligraphy. The patina is superb inside and out on this high rimmed tray.
