TAPIS Karabagh (Caucase, Arménie) Azerbaïdjan, de la fin du XIXème siècle voir tout début du XXème.
En laine sur coton, nouée main dans un nouage très serré pour environ 160 000 noeuds au M2.
 Un large champ vert sombre, tirant vers le bleu nuit et le noir accueille 14 grands vases dont deux ne comportent que la base, dans des couleurs chatoyantes, orange, jaune, rouge, vert pâle d'ou une multitude d'oelllets ( symbole de beauté, jeunesse, renouveau, espoir et paix)s'échappent et parsèment le reste du champ innocupé.
Ces vases très élaborés et classiques à décor de palmettes et d'arabesques possèdent pour chacun d' eux, deux larges poignées et sont là, non sans nous rappeler le style persan et son influence très présente dans ce travail, l'Iran étant proche de cette région.
Une grande gaieté se dégage de ce tapis, due à la vivacité des coloris.
La bordure unique, relativement étroite, 12 cm, est ornée de 130 oeillets sur le pourtour qui se détachent d'un fond rouge ou orange selon l'envie du noueur.
Les oeillets composés de 12 pétales alternent le blanc et le rouge.
Chaque fleur à la suite , l'une de l'autre alterne aussi la couleur de leur pistil, passant du jaune au orange, au orange et jaune, tout ceci dans un soucis de bonne lecture des objets et des fleurs composant ce merveilleux tapis, en très bon état. Les franges sont courtes.
Ce tapis à été nettoyé professionnellement et de façon écologique.

CARPET Karabakh (Caucasus, Armenia) Azerbaijan, from the end of the 19th century see the beginning of the 20th century.
In wool on cotton, hand knotted in a tight knot for about 160 000 knots in the M2. A large dark green field, drawing towards the midnight blue and the black accommodates 14 large vases, two of which contain only the base, in shimmering colors, orange, yellow, red, pale green, a multitude of oelllets (symbol of beauty, youth, renewal, hope and peace) dot the rest of the field unharmed.
These vases decorated with palm leaves and large arabesques each have two large handles and are there, not without reminding us of the Persian style and its influence very present in this work. A great cheerfulness emerges from this carpet, due to the liveliness of the colors.
The single, relatively narrow, 12 cm border is decorated with 130 eyelets around the edge that stand out from a red or orange background according to the desire of the noor. Eyelets composed of 12 petals alternate white and red. Each flower has the following, one of the other also alternates the color of their pistil, passing from yellow to orange to a heart, orange to yellow, all this in a concern of good reading of the objects and flowers composing this wonderful carpet in very good condition. The fringes are short. This carpet has been cleaned professionally and ecologically.
