Laine rouge et noire, pour l'ensemble supportant une pointe de blanc, ce tapis est décoré de 24 guls posés sur le champ d'un beau rouge foncé . Les guls sont des médaillons que l'on trouve sur les tapis d'Asie centrale.

# A noter la qualité du dessin complexe des bordures à décor de feuilles de chêne stylisées.
Les produits artisanaux afghans sont toujours d'une très bonnes factures.
Dans d’autres régions, les tapis nomades sont souvent noués de manière lâche et ont de longs poils.
Contrairement aux tapis afghans ou turkmènes qui présentent des fabrications denses et serrées grâce au nœud persan et des traits de velours et des poils de chèvre ou de laine de mouton, souples et brillants.
L'utilisation de poils de chèvre est des plus courant pour la chaîne et la trame.
Ces tapis ont une aura masculine et ont toujours été appréciés depuis le XIXème siècle pour la décoration de bureaux d'hommes d’affaires.
Ces tapis majestueux sont certainement les meilleurs en Asie centrale et sont l'œuvre des tribus afghanes.
Le même esprit de nouage et de motif se retrouve dans les tapis voisins du Turkménistan appartenant à la tribu Tekke, généralement appelé "Boukhara-Tekke" .ce qui reste une fausse appelation.
L'ancienne production consiste en de plus petits tapis, en raison de la distance qui sépare l'Asie centrale et les marchés étrangers.
Ce tapis est en bon état : velours impeccable, franges et lisières en usures d'usages.
Finition, franges à un bout noué façon kilim suivi de franges.

Red and black wool, for the whole supporting a touch of white, this carpet is decorated with 24 guls placed on the field of a beautiful dark red.
The guls are medallions found on Central Asian carpets.

# Note the quality of the complex design of the borders decorated with stylized oak leaves.
Afghan crafts are always of very good quality. In other regions, nomadic carpets are often loosely knotted and have long pile.
Unlike Afghan or Turkmen carpets which have dense and tight fabrications thanks to the Persian knot and velvet lines and goat hair or sheep wool, soft and shiny.
The use of goat hair is most common for the warp and weft.
These carpets have a masculine aura and have always been appreciated since the 19th century for the decoration of businessmen's offices.
These majestic carpets are certainly the best in Central Asia and are the work of the Afghan tribes.
The same spirit of knotting and pattern is found in the neighboring carpets of Turkmenistan belonging to the Tekke tribe, generally called "Bukhara-Tekke" .which remains a misnomer.
The old production consists of smaller carpets, because of the distance between Central Asia and foreign markets.
This carpet is in good condition: impeccable pile, fringes and selvedges in use wear.
Finish, fringes with one end knotted in a kilim way followed by fringes.
