Tapis ancien Bakhtiar, Perse, 147 x 211 cm, vers 1920, Iran

Ce splendide Bakthiar ancien mesure 147 cm x 211 cm est en bon très état et possède des couleurs très fraîches et éclatantes.
Des années 1920, 1930 ce tapis est originaire de la région de Chahar Mahal (Shotour ) en Iran.
C'est un Bakthiar à médaillon central, très différent des habituels structures en carrés ou en rectangles s'étalant sur l'ensemble du champ.
Le médaillon a la forme d'un losange dans son ensemble et son coeur a la forme d'une grosse fleur et de grandes feuilles.
Le champ est composé de grandes fleurs stylisées, colorées et nouées avec une très grande application de symétrie, médaillons, décors, écoinçons.
Ce type de tapis Bakthiar n'est pas des plus courants, il reste un style de tapis dit nomade tout en ayant un décor se rapprochant des tapis de ville dit tapis d'ateliers.
Cette pièce est particulièrement soignée dans son décor et elle présente une certaine transition entre le tapis nomade et le tapis des villes.
Ces tapis sont résistants noués avec des laines de très hautes qualités provenant des montagnes.
Malgrè leur nom et contrairement à différents types de tapis, les Bakthiar ne sont pas noués par les membres de la tribu Bakthiar, les Bakhtiaris, mais par une population autre aujourd hui sédentaire.
La région de Chahar Mahal produit le tapis Bakthiar mais aussi moins connus les Yalame, plus récents en fabrication mais de très bonne réputation.
Une très légère usure due à son bel âge, les lisières sont impeccables, c'est un tapis finement serré, centenaire et de très belle qualité.
Ce tapis a été nettoyé professionnellement et de façon écologique.

This splendid old Bakthiar measures 147 cm x 211 cm is in very good condition and has very fresh and vibrant colors.
From the 1920s and 1930s, this rug originates from the Chahar Mahal (Shotour) region in Iran.
It is a Bakthiar with a central medallion, very different from the usual structures in squares or rectangles spreading over the whole field.
The medallion has the shape of a rhombus as a whole, and its heart has the shape of a large flower and large leaves.
The field is composed of large stylized, colored and tied flowers with a very large application of symmetry, medallions, decorations, spandrels.
This type of Bakthiar rug is not the most common, there remains a so-called nomadic style of rug.
This carpet is particularly neat in its decoration and it presents a certain transition between the nomadic carpet and the carpet of the cities.
These rugs are resistant knotted with very high quality wool from the mountains.
Despite their name and unlike different types of carpets, the Bakthiar are not knotted by members of the Bakthiar tribe, the Bakhtiaris, but by a different population that is now sedentary.
The Chahar Mahal region produces the Bakthiar carpet but also the less known Yalame, more recent in manufacture but of very good reputation.
A very slight wear due to its good age, the edges are impeccable, it is a finely tight carpet, centenary and of very good quality.
This rug has been professionally and environmentally cleaned.
