De facture classique, ce modèle est l'archétype du style naturaliste chez les Kirman.
Le vase de roses qui en constitue un des motifs les plus connus, est répété sur un fond ivoire, (voir blanc pour d'autres Kirman) pour ce genre.
De nos jours, ils s'en nouent toujours, mais leurs couleurs sont plus fortes, voire plus criardes.
Tapis de Kirman ou Kerman, Iran vers 1890-1900 en laine et soie, nouée main, mesurant 142 cm de large par 212 cm de long, pour une densité d' environ 650.000 noeuds au m2.

Bien qu'originaire de la ville iranienne de Kirman dont ces tapis portent le nom, grande région de production, aucune pièce n'a aujourd'hui plus de cent cinquante ans.
En effet le tissage de tapis n'a démarré dans cette région que vers 1880.
Notre modèle, bien que présentant une usure d'usage, n'en n'est pas moins un sublime artefact de la culture Kadjar et de la création de ces Kirman.
Le Kirman est souvent à décor de fleurs et la plupart du temps possède un médaillon qui se détache sur fond uni.
Les motifs du médaillon sont repris dans la bordure et les quatre écoinçons, (coins ) .
Certains de ces tapis proposent aussi de grandes scènes animalières.
Notre modèle, un kirman est originaire de la ville de Kirman, présente un magnifique décor de nombreux bouquets, entrelacs, d'une très grande délicatesse et d'une grande beauté.
Kerman est la plus grande ville du Sud-Est de l'Iran et est le chef lieu de la province du même nom.
La réputation des tapis Kirman et des raver est due à l'excellence des "Ostads", ces dessinateurs de cartons d'une habileté incroyable ont su garder le sens de la tradition de ces grands tapis persans
L'accord profond des couleurs résulte d'un dosage parfait qui témoigne de la grande créativité des artisans de Kirman.
Les tapis les plus fins sont les plus admirables et les plus beaux, plus le nombre de noeuds est important plus le tapis est fin, et recherché par des amateurs et des collectionneurs.
## Certains Kirman sont désignés sous le nom de Laver, altération de Raver, ville proche de Kirman ou l'on noue les tapis d'une façon très soignée.
Les anciens Laver sont caractérisés par un grand médaillon polylobé, à peu près ovale ou rhomboïdal sur fond ivoire (notre modèle), ou un décor de vases placés en gradins.
Ces deux types de tapis sont extrêmement rares de nos jours et possède une délicatesse chromatique particulière aux Kirman anciens.
Cette catégorie de tapis compte à juste titre, parmi les meilleurs de la production de l'Iran.
De nombreux animaux, lièvres et tourterelles s'ébattent le long de la bordure.
## Un modèle du même type est présent au musée Golestan de Téhéran.
Finesse d'exécution, délicatesse des coloris, qualité des matériaux utilisés en font une pièce de collection.
Cette pièce est en bel état pour son âge, sans restauration, et a été nettoyé professionnellement et de façon écologique.

Classically made, this model is the archetype of the naturalist style among the Kirmans.
The vase of roses, which is one of the most famous motifs, is repeated on an ivory background (see white for other Kirmans) for this genre. Nowadays, they still tie it, but their colors are stronger, even more garish.

Although originating from the Iranian city of Kirman whose name these rugs bear, a large production region, no piece is more than one hundred and fifty years old today. Indeed carpet weaving only started in this region around 1880.
Our model, although showing signs of wear and tear, is nonetheless a sublime artefact of the Kadjar culture and the creation of these Kirman.
The Kirman is often decorated with flowers and most of the time has a medallion that stands out against a plain background.
The motifs of the medallion are repeated in the border and the four spandrels (corners).

Kerman is the largest city in southeastern Iran and is the capital of the province of the same name.

## Some Kirman are referred to as Laver, alteration of Raver, a town near Kirman where the carpets are knotted in a very neat way.
The old Laver are characterized by a large polylobed medallion, roughly oval or rhomboidal on an ivory background (our model), or a decoration of vases placed in tiers.
These two types of rugs are extremely rare today and have a chromatic delicacy particular to ancient Kirmans.
This category of carpets rightly counts among the best production of Iran.
Fineness of execution, delicacy of the colors, quality of the materials used make it a collector's item.
This piece is in good condition for its age, without restoration, and has been professionally and environmentally cleaned.
