Tapis Ghom en soie, toisant 94 cm de large par 172 cm de long avec les franges, 163 cm hors franges.
Originaire d'Iran vers 1980 en parfait état.
Velours, lisières et franges impeccables.
Le début de la fabrication des tapis de Ghom se met en place dans cette ville vers 1920/1930.
Ceci à l'initiative et grace à la persévérance des noueurs et marchands de Kashan.
La fabrication de ces beaux tapis très résistants est certes récente mais les noueurs habiles et précis ainsi que les "Ostads" dessinateurs de cartons ont imposé leur savoir faire grace à la perfection de leur travail et à l'amplitude de la gamme des dessins et des couleurs.
Deuxième ville sainte d'Iran à 150 kms de Téhéran, Ghom est un centre théologique majeur.
Le noeud utilisé est le noeud persan noué très serré. (voir photos)
Les décors de plantes et d'animaux, ainsi que l'utilisation de la laine et de la soie se fait réguliérement.
La commercialisation se fait sous plusieurs noms : Qom, Ghom, Gom, Qum, Kum, et Ghoum.
## Notre modèle à décor d'un médaillon et de végétaux est en très bel état dans un bel esprit classique et présente des couleurs très agréables.
Vieux rose, lie de vin, bleu pâle, ivoire, noir, chamois composent cette pièce pleine de charme.
La bordure comme une guirlande de feuilles de lierre sur fond noir rappelle le cycle de la vie dans ses méandres.
Le médaillon prend la forme des médaillons des Kashan, rempli de fleurs stylisées et accompagnés dans la longueur de deux grands pendentifs en forme de hallebarde ou de fleur de lys.

Ghom silk rug, measuring 94 cm wide by 172 cm long with fringes, 163 cm excluding fringes.
From Iran around 1980 in perfect condition.
The beginning of the manufacturing of Ghom carpets took place in this city around 1920/1930.
This is the initiative and thanks to the perseverance of the knotters and merchants of Kashan. The manufacture of these beautiful, very resistant carpets is certainly recent, but the skillful and precise knotters as well as the "Ostads" cartoon designers have imposed their know-how thanks to the perfection of their work and the breadth of the range of designs and colors.
Second holy city of Iran, 150 km from Tehran, Ghom is a major theological center.
The knot used is the Persian knot tied very tightly. (see photos)
The decorations of plants and animals, as well as the use of wool and silk are done regularly.
Marketing is done under several names: Qom, Ghom, Gom, Qum, Kum, and Ghoum.
## Our model decorated with a medallion and plants is in very good condition in a beautiful classic spirit and presents very pleasant colors. Old pink, wine lees, pale blue, ivory, black, buff make up this charming piece.
The border like a garland of ivy leaves on a black background recalls the cycle of life in its meanders.
The medallion takes the shape of the Kashan medallions, filled with stylized flowers and accompanied lengthwise by two large pendants in the shape of a halberd or fleur-de-lis.
