Tapis Ghom toisant 140 cm de large par 225 cm de long (hors franges),
noué main en Iran vers 1980 en très bel état.
Le début de la fabrication des tapis de Ghom se met en place dans cette ville vers 1920/1930,
à l'initiative et à la persévérance des noueurs et marchands de Kashan.

Notre modèle présente, un velours, des lisières et des franges en parfait état
La fabrication de ces beaux tapis très résistants est certes récente mais les noueurs habiles et précis ainsi que les "Ostads" dessinateurs de cartons ont imposé leur savoir faire grace à la perfection de leur travail et à l'amplitude de la gamme des dessins et des couleurs.

Deuxième ville sainte d'Iran à 150 kms de Téhéran, Ghom est un centre théologique majeur.
Le noeud utilisé est le noeud persan noué très serré sur une laine très fine.
Les décors de plantes, fleurs, végétaux entrelacés et d'animaux, ainsi que l'utilisation de la laine mélangée à de la soie se pratique réguliérement.

Chaque type de dessin reste stylisé et l'utilisation des couleurs sur les gohm est toujours très harmonieux
Notre modèle présente un médaillon géométrique justaposé d'autre médaillons, son champ est couvert de fleurs, l'ensemble nous donne l'impression d'un jardin Perse ou à la française, parterres, fontaine centrale, allées donnent une grande symétrie à l'ensemble.
La commercialisation se fait sous plusieurs noms : Qom, Ghom, Gom, Qum, Kum, et Ghoum.
Notre modèle à décor de végétaux est en très bel état , dans un bel esprit classique et des couleurs peu communes que l'on ne trouve que sur les Indo-persan.
Une légère roussissure sur un côté qui ne gâche en rien la beauté de cette pièce.

Ghom rug measuring 140 cm wide by 225 cm long (excluding fringes),
hand-knotted in Iran around 1980 in perfect condition.
The beginning of the manufacture of Ghom rugs took place in this city around 1920/1930, at the initiative and perseverance of the knotters and merchants of Kashan.

Our model has a pile, selvedges and fringes in perfect condition.
The manufacture of these beautiful, very resistant rugs is certainly recent, but the skillful and precise knotters as well as the "Ostads" cartoon designers have imposed their know-how thanks to the perfection of their work and the amplitude of the range of designs and colors.

The second holiest city in Iran, 150 km from Tehran, Ghom is a major theological center.
The knot used is the Persian knot tied very tightly on very fine wool.
The decorations of plants, flowers, intertwined plants and animals, as well as the use of wool mixed with silk is practiced regularly. Each type of design remains stylized and the use of colors on the gohm is always very harmonious.
Our model presents a geometric medallion placed next to other medallions, its field is covered with flowers, the whole gives us the impression of a Persian or French garden, flowerbeds, central fountain, paths give a great symmetry to the whole.
Marketing is done under several names: Qom, Ghom, Gom, Qum, Kum, and Ghoum.
Our model with plant decoration is in very good condition, in a beautiful classic spirit and unusual colors that are only found on Indo-Persian.
A slight rusting on one side which does not spoil the beauty of this piece.
