Tapis persan Ispahan ou Isfahan en laine kork mesurant 151 cm de large par 254 cm de long de la fin du XIXème, début du XXème siècle, 1890/1900.
Magnifique décor pour ce type de persan considéré comme les tapis les plus fins que l'on trouve en Iran.
Tapis de qualité Musée possédant encore sa belle étiquette de provenance en tissus.
La décoration de cette pièce reprend des motifs floraux traditionnels qui figurent dans les tapis du XVIIème siècle et dans les mosquées, sur les céramiques anciennes.
On reconnait facilement dans les entrelacs des roses et des marguerites présentes sur le champ et sur les bordures, souvent nouées sur ces tapis.
La bordure et ses contre-bordures sont des plus sophistiquées, tant l'agencement des entrelacs et des fleurs est d'une grande finesse.
Le dessin du médaillon central carré propre à ces tapis avec d'élégants prolongements en pendentifs, et les motifs des angles témoignent d'une grande recherche.
Les couleurs sont agréables et restées fraîches, trois nuances de bleu, saumoné, crème naturel, tomette, corail, et trois nuances de vert, anis, bronze et olive, gris bleu suivi de noir sont des nuances que l'on rencontre occasionnellement. Soit treize couleurs.
Nous avons grand peine à imaginer la patience infinie qu'il fallait et qu'il faut pour la création d'une si belle pièce.
Densité d'environ 640 000 noeuds au M2 pour une épaisseur de 5 millimètres.
Les lisières sont en très bon état. usures d'usages pour un tapis de plus de 100 ans que l'on peut aisément considérer en très bon état
Ce type de tapis, nous prouve le sens artistique précis et aigu, des artisans d'Ispahan.
Ispahan, est la grande ville d'art de l'Iran,encore aujourd'hui.
Sous le règne de Chah Abbas, la renommée de cette ville dans le secteur artistique, était des plus importantes.
Cette ville a produit de très grands artistes, et quelques uns des plus beaux tapis au monde.
Ce tapis à été nettoyé professionnellement et de façon écologique.

Persian Isfahan or Isfahan carpet in kork wool measuring 151 cm wide by 254 cm long from the end of the XIXth, beginning of the XXth century, 1890/1900.
Magnificent decor for this type of Persian considered to be the finest carpets found in Iran. Museum quality carpet still with its beautiful fabric provenance label.
The decoration of this room uses traditional floral motifs which appear in 17th century carpets and in mosques, on old ceramics.
One easily recognizes in the interlacing of roses and daisies present on the field and on the borders, often tied on these carpets.
The border and its counter-borders are very sophisticated, so much the arrangement of the interlacing and the flowers is of a great finesse. The design of the square central medallion specific to these rugs with elegant pendant extensions, and the patterns of the angles testify to great research.
The colors are pleasant and remained fresh, blue, orange, cream, old pink and green are nuances that we meet occasionally.
We have great difficulty in imagining the infinite patience that was needed and needed for the creation of such a beautiful piece.
