Tapis Karabagh ou Karabakh, originaire d'Arménie , Caucase daté de 1910 et signé.
Sur champ rouge profond ( parfois noir ) typique du style de ces tapis décorés par trois médaillons à décor floral reprenant le décor des tapis français de la savonnerie à rinceaux de fleurs multicolores.
Ce tapis à nouage dense, 360 000 noeuds au m2 possède un velours en laine sur fondations de laine, une très belle fraîcheur des coloris et est dans un remarquable état de conservation pour son bel age, 110 ans.
Un beau tapis ancien, daté en chiffre romain, l'Arménie étant composé de chrétien.
Ce tapis reste dans son jus, n'étant pas un grand amateur des restaurations, quand les lisières et franges restent dans cet état.
Les tapis antérieurs à 1925 se définissent en cinq groupes : les kazakhs, karabakh ou sjirvan, kuba et daghestani.
Les tapis de la région du Karabakh ont souvent des motifs doux et rappellent les tapis persans.
En dehors de cette classification, on trouve aussi des tapis Gandja, Silé et Verni.
Ces tapis se distinguent par leurs motifs géométriques très variés et imaginatifs.
On trouve parfois, sous forme stylisée, des figures d'animaux ou des motifs géométriques et architecturaux.
Ce tapis à été nettoyé professionnellement et de façon écologique.

Karabakh or Karabakh carpet, originating in Armenia, Caucasus dated 1910 and signed.
On a deep red field (sometimes black) typical of the style of these carpets decorated with three medallions with floral decoration taking up the decoration of the French carpets of the soap factory with foliage of multicolored flowers.
This dense knotting carpet, 360,000 knots per m2, has a wool pile on a wool foundation, a very nice freshness of colors and is in a remarkable state of conservation. This carpet remains in its own juice, not being a big fan of restorations, when the edges and fringes remain in this state.
Carpets prior to 1925 are defined in five groups: Kazakhs, Karabakh or Sjirvan, Kuba and Dagestani.
Carpets from the Karabakh region often have soft patterns and are reminiscent of Persian rugs.
Apart from this classification, there are also Gandja, Silé and Verni rugs.
These rugs are distinguished by their very varied and imaginative geometric patterns.
We sometimes find, in stylized form, animal figures or geometric and architectural patterns.
