Tapis kutaya ancien, Anatolie, Turquie, 111 cm x 165 cm, fin du XIXème siècle
Tapis Kutaya Ancien dit aussi Kutalya, en laine Kork sur laine, ce qui donne un rendu très soyeux, Empire Ottoman ( Turquie ) de la deuxième moitié du XIX ème siècle noué en Anatolie.
( La laine Kork est la laine la plus douce de l'agneau, elle est prise sous le cou et sur les épaules à la tonte de l'animal )
Décor composé d'un long médaillon central, gris beige presque vieil or et bleu nuit sur un fond rouge, inspiré des tapis Oushaks à médaillon central orné d'une grande variété de motifs.
L'ensemble est prit dans quatre écoinçons bicolores, rouge et bleu à semis de fleurs et cernés d'une large bordure vieil or et beige semée de très nombreux motifs et de fleurs également.
Le tout compose un tapis d'une grande qualité et d'un modèle peu courant en bon état.
