Beau tapis de Macchad signé du maître noueur (photo), Iran vers 1970- 1980 en laine kork nouée mains,
pour environ 360.000 noeuds au m2, en très bon état d'usage.
Sa taille importante 281 cm de largeur par 385 de longueur convient pour les grands salons.
Ce beau tapis provient de la province de Mechhed.
Belle pièce fortement ouvragée, possédant une légère usure d'usage .
Mecched est la deuxième plus grande ville d'Iran située dans le Nord-Est, elle est surnommée" la ville aux mille visages."
Ce tapis est en très bel état, il possède un décor d'un grand médaillon à deux larges pendentifs à fond bleu, couvrant le champ.
Ce médaillon représente deux fleurs stylisées justaposées, cernées de seize grandes fleurs de lotus.
Du médaillon et des pendentifs partent de nombreux entrelacs de branchâges.
Sur tout le champ apparaissent de fines volutes ondulées et fleuries, et de grands bouquets.
Les couleurs d'une grande fraîcheur, vives, possèdent une dominante d'un beau rouge,et des bleu profond pour le champ, la bordure sur fond ivoire.
A noter la qualité de la large bordure à fond abricot et chamois longée de nombreuses frises étroites, décorées de fleurs et d'une large bande centrale agrémentée d'un décor floral .
Le champ à décor de médaillon central très élaboré est serti par quatre petits écoinçons à fond bleu.
Les Franges sont longues, en état et propres.
la laine kork fine et douce, prise à l'encolure et sous le ventre des agneaux, (à la première tonte)
compose le velours noué sur un fin coton pour la trame.
Ce tapis a été nettoyé professionnellement et de façon écologique.

Beautiful carpet from Macchad, Iran circa 1970-1980 in hand-knotted kork wool, for approximately 360,000 knots per m2, in very good used condition. Its large size 281 cm wide by 385 cm long is suitable for large living rooms.
This beautiful rug comes from the province of Mechhed, a beautiful, highly crafted piece, with normal wear. Mecched is the second largest city in Iran located in the Northeast, it is nicknamed "the city of a thousand faces."
This carpet is in good condition, it has a decoration of a large medallion with two large pendants, covering the field.
This medallion represents two stylized flowers next to each other, surrounded by sixteen large lotus flowers. From the medallion and the pendants come numerous interlacings of branches. All over the field appear fine wavy, flowery scrolls and large bouquets. The very fresh, lively colors have a dominant of a beautiful red, and deep blue for the field, the border on an ivory background. Note the quality of the wide border with an apricot and buff background bordered by numerous narrow friezes, decorated with flowers and a wide central band decorated with floral decoration. The field with very elaborate central medallion decoration is set by four small spandrels with a blue background. The fringes are long, in good condition and clean. the fine and soft kork wool, taken from the neck and under the belly of the lambs, (at the first shearing) makes up the velvet knotted on fine cotton for the weft. This rug has been professionally and eco-friendly cleaned.
