Tapiz nuptial Kiz de la région de Bergame, Anatolie, Turquie, en laine vers 1900-1920.
Ce beau tapis nuptial se remarque par sa niche double et l'utilisation de la couleur blanche et du rouge foncé.
Au centre sur un fond rouge un médaillon arbore de grosses fleurs dans l'axe vertical de ces niches.
Ces tapis habituellement, jalousement conservés dans les familles se reconnaissent aux dessins de grandes fleurs de pommiers se situant dans les deux planches fermant le champ. Ces dessins sont des motifs propitiatoires de fertilité ainsi que les petites mouches noir et rouge " sinekli " que l'on retrouve dans les quatre écoinçons couleur chameau.
Le terme " KIZ " signifie en turc, " jeune fille " et nous précise que nous sommes en présence d'un tapis à usage privé et de production villageoise.
La bordure principale est agrémentée d'une suite d'étoiles à huit branches longée de " Medahils " rouges et accompagnée de fleurs de pommiers stylisées de couleur bleue.
Ces nombreux symboles nous indiquent donc bien, l'appartenance de ce tapis aux tapis nuptiaux, peu présents sur le marché.
Le velours de laine de ce tapis est ras et brillant, sa densité d'environ 420 000 noeuds au M2, les couleurs sont franches, le champ présente des usures inévitables dues à son âge et peut donc être considéré comme un tapis en très bon état.
Ce tapis a été nettoyé professionnellement et de façon écologique.

Kiz nuptial carpet from the Bergamo region, Anatolia, Turkey, woolen around 1900-1920.
This beautiful nuptial carpet is distinguished by its double niche and the use of white and dark red.
In the center on a red background a medallion sports large flowers in the vertical axis of these niches. These carpets, which are jealously kept in families, can be seen in the drawings of large apple blossoms in the two planks closing the field.
These drawings are propitiatory grounds of fertility as well as the small black and red "sinekli" flies found in the four camel-colored spandrels.
The term "KIZ" means in Turkish, "girl" and tells us that we are in the presence of a carpet for private use and village production.
The main border is embellished with a string of eight-pointed stars lined with red "Medahils" and accompanied by stylized blue apple blossoms.
These numerous symbols indicate to us well, the belonging of this carpet to the carpets nuptial, little present on the market.
The velvet wool of this carpet is shiny and bright, its density of about 420 000 knots M2, the colors are frank, the field has inevitable wear due to its age and can be considered a carpet in very good condition .
This rug has been cleaned professionally and ecologically.
