Tapis Joshagan, "Jowshaqan", de la première partie du XXème siècle en laine nouée main, mesurant 128 cm de large par 202 cm de long.
Ce genre particulier de tapis dont le dessin se nomme "djangali", jungle, tient son nom des nombreux motifs floraux qui remplissent le champ de couleur rouille.
Les nuances sont intenses et brillantes sur un beau velours de laine.
Un vrai beau persan d'un magnifique graphisme, en bel état, de légères traces d'usures.
Autrefois production exclusive du village de Jowshaqan, ces tapis sont aussi noués depuis la seconde guerre mondiale à Meimeh et à Moutcheh Khourt, villages présents sur la grande route d'Ispahan.
Les Meimeh comportent de nombreuses ressemblances mais sont plus rectilignes tout en possédant moins de motifs différents comparativement à ces tapis Joshaqan. Ils sont souvent confondus avec certains Bakthiar et notamment avec les Samam.
La bordure de notre modèle est incroyablement travaillée.
La tradition des tapis à Jowshaqan remonte au XVIème siècle .

"Persian Joshagan Rug, 128 Cm X 202 Cm, Wool, Iran, First Part Of The 20th Century"
Joshagan rug, "Jowshaqan", from the first part of the 20th century in hand-knotted wool, measuring 128 cm wide by 202 cm long.
This particular kind of rug whose design is called "djangali", jungle, takes its name from the many floral patterns that fill the rust-colored field. The shades are intense and shiny on a beautiful wool pile.
Formerly an exclusive production of the village of Jowshaqan, these rugs have also been knotted since the Second World War in Meimeh and Moutcheh Khourt, villages on the main road to Isfahan.
The Meimeh have many similarities but are more rectilinear while having fewer different patterns compared to these Joshaqan rugs.
They are often confused with certain Bakthiar and in particular with the Samam.
The border of our model is incredibly worked. The tradition of carpets in Jowshaqan dates back to the 16th century.
