Tapis Maslaghan de la seconde partie du XIXème siècle, en laine toisant 124 cm de large par 198 cm de long, en état d'usage, à décor typique du médaillon central découpé des tapis Maslaghan, posé sur un champ lacéré de grandes pointes, reconnaissable au premier coup d'oeil de tout les amateurs et possédant des couleurs très attractives.
# Ce tapis présente des usures ce qui est normal, c'est un tapis ancien qui a été utilisé pendant des générations, ce qui le rend plus beau, le restaurer n'est pas utile, sa beauté réside dans son état, la plupart des tapis du XIXème siècle originaire des campagnes iraniennes ou du Caucase présente des usures, il est extrémement rare dans trouver en bon état voir en très bon état.
Seuls , souvent les tapis de prière sont en bon état voir en très bon état, ne servant que pour la prière et rangés soigneusement dans une armoire après chaque prière.
Le petit village de Kerdar en Iran, est le seul endroit ou sont noués les Maslaghan et on les reconnait, gràce à ce grand champ en forme de losange avec les côtés en zigzag que reprennent les écoinçons ( coins ) en se prolongeant le long des bords, et se rejoignant dans la longueur du tapis, ceci en créant un décor complétement inhabituel .
Notre tapis est largement semé de fleurs : roses, oeillets, et marguerites ( ressemblant légérement aux Minakhani, motif des tapis Veramin ). Les quatre écoinçons font ressortir sur fond bleu, de belles rangées fleuries reprenant toutes les nuances du tapis.
Le médaillon d' un vieux rose uni magnifique tranche complétement avec le reste du tapis et lui apporte un côté décoratif intense.

Maslaghan carpet from the second half of the 19th century, in wool measuring 124 cm wide by 198 cm long, in used condition, typical decoration of the central medallion cut out of Maslaghan carpets, placed on a field torn with large spikes, recognizable at the first glance of all the amateurs and having very attractive colors.
# This carpet shows wear which is normal, it is an old carpet which has been used for generations, which makes it more beautiful, to restore it is not useful, its beauty lies in its state, most of the 19th century carpet from the Iranian or Caucasian countryside shows signs of wear, it is extremely rare to find in good condition or in very good condition.
Only, often the prayer rugs are in good condition or in very good condition, used only for prayer and carefully stored in a cabinet after each prayer. The small village of Kerdar in Iran, is the only place where the Maslaghans are knotted and we recognize them, thanks to this large diamond-shaped field with the zigzag sides taken up by the corner pieces extending along the edges , and joining in the length of the carpet, this creating a completely unusual decor.
Our carpet is widely sown with flowers: roses, carnations, and daisies (slightly resembling Minakhani, motif of Veramin carpets). The four spandrels bring out on a blue background, beautiful flowered rows taking up all the nuances of the carpet. The medallion of a beautiful plain old rose contrasts completely with the rest of the carpet and gives it an intense decorative side.
