Tapis Persan Samam ancien, 132 cm x 200 cm, Laine et Soie, Iran

Rare et peu connu tapis Samam, de la famille des tapis Bakthiars, originaire de la région d'Ispahan, Iran.
les Samams et les Chalchotors, souvent confondus sont les meilleurs des Bakhtiars, ils sont très résistants et noués finement.
Notre modèle en laine et soie est noué pour environ 450 000 noeuds au M2.
Le village de Samam proche du fleuve Zayaudeh Roud et à environ 80 kms d'Ispahan est à l'origine de ces tapis à double trames totalement différents
des Bakthiars mais du même groupe.
Le champ est divisé en petits carrés comme un échiquier, présentant une décoration florale très stylisée typique et une croix centrale.
La bordure principale large est ornée d'arabesques fleuries et entourée de deux bandes étroites à décor de feuilles et de fleurs.
Les tons sont plutôt sombres contrairement aux Bakthiars.
Il arrive aussi qu'on les confonde avec les Djochégans, non divisés en carrés et possédants des écoinçons.
Notre modèle, ancien, de la première partie du XXème siècle, possède de légères usures, une belle brillance et un décor très peu courant.
Cette pièce est en bel état, et a été nettoyé professionnellement et de façon écologique.

"Old Persian Samam Rug, 132 Cm X 200 Cm, Wool And Silk, Iran, First Part Of The XXth Century"
Rare and little known Samam carpet, from the Bakthiars family, from the Isfahan region, Iran.
Samams and Chalchotors, often confused, are the best of the Bakhtiars, they are very resistant and finely knotted.
Our wool and silk model is knotted for around 450,000 knots per M2.
The village of Samam near the Zayaudeh Roud river and about 80 km from Isfahan is at the origin of these double weft rugs totally different from the Bakthiars but from the same group.
The field is divided into small squares like a chessboard, presenting a typical stylized floral decoration and a central cross.
The large main border is decorated with flowery arabesques and surrounded by two narrow bands decorated with leaves and flowers.
The tones are rather dark unlike the Bakthiars
. It also happens that they are confused with Djochégans, not divided into squares and having spandrels.
Our old model, from the first part of the XXth century, has slight wear, a beautiful shine and a very unusual decor.
This room is in beautiful condition, and has been professionally and ecologically cleaned.
