Tapis Sarough ancien,toisant 130 cm de large pour une longueur de 185 cm originaire d'Iran en laine et soie.
Les couleurs restent très fraiches, le tapis est beau et brillant et possède deux anciennes restaurations très peu visibles.
L'ancien propriétaire a fait restauré les lisières qui sont aujourd'hui impeccables, les franges sont courtes et propres.
Les Saroughs sont très résistants et possédent une excellente réputation de solidité.
Notre exemplaire de style classique présente une grande richesse de motifs et de couleurs peu courantes pour le type Sarough.
Son médaillon s'intégre parfaitement aux gracieux entrelacs couvrant le champ.
Le tapis Sarough, dit aussi Hamadan, l'Ecbatana de l'Antiquité, est le lieu de production de quelques villages et certaines maisons d'achat européennes y ont des agences.
Beaucoup de ces tapis sont surnommés hamadan par les commerçants, en particulier les tapis de passage dont un grand nombre est fabriqué dans cette région.
Parfois ces tapis ont des identités distinctes et ce type est le Sarouk fait dans la petite ville de ce nom mais commercialisé en Hamadan. Ces tapis sont très populaires aux états unis dont les décorateurs apprécient les lourdes pièces luxueuses.

Old Sarough carpet, measuring 130 cm wide for a length of 185 cm from Iran in wool and silk.
The colors remain very fresh, the carpet is beautiful and shiny and has two old restorations that are hardly visible.

The Sarough carpet, also known as Hamadan, the Ecbatana of Antiquity, is the place of production of some villages and some European buying houses have agencies there
. Many of these carpets are nicknamed hamadan by traders, in particular the passing carpets, many of which are made in this region.
Sometimes these carpets have distinct identities and this type is the Sarouk made in the small town of this name but marketed in Hamadan.
