Très beau Tabriz ancien à médaillon dont la laine douce et fine qui le compose nous propose une palette ordonnée de magnifiques couleurs provoquant un contraste saisissant.
Ce tapis toise 143 cm de large par 212 cm de long, est dans un très bel état, les franges sont courtes, les lisières en parfait état, le velours impeccable.
Tapis de la fin du XIXème siècle, voir tout début du XXème à médaillon et fleurs stylisées.
"L'artiste a vu des fleurs dans la nature et ne les a pas représenté telles quelles sont, c'est Dieu qui les a créé donc l'artiste les a stylisé car seul Dieu a la perfection". Et ceci est quasiment valable pour chaque représentation, florale ou animale dans l'art islamique.
L'artiste doit donc travailler dans l'abstrait.
(Tabriz (azéri: Təbriz/ تبریز, anciennement Tauris), est la capitale de la province de l'Azerbaïdjan oriental, au nord-ouest de l'Iran (Azerbaïdjan iranien).

Very beautiful old Tabriz with medallion whose soft and fine wool which composes it offers us an ordered palette of magnificent colors causing a striking contrast.
This toise rug, 143 cm wide by 212 cm long, is in very good condition, the fringes are short, the edges in perfect condition, the pile impeccable.
Carpet from the end of the 19th century, see the very beginning of the 20th century with a medallion and stylized flowers.
"The artist saw flowers in nature and did not represent them as they are, it is God who created them so the artist stylized them because only God is perfect".
And this is almost valid for every Islamic art. The artist must therefore work in the abstract.
